Annika Burnett

About Me:

I am 19 years old and currently a student at Reed College in Portland, OR, USA. In school, I am studying political science--most importantly, feminist and women's politics. In my spare time, I am volunteering as an intern for World Pulse Magazine, which I'm so excited about!

My Passions:
books, feminism, hiking, running, traveling, and meeting new&interesting people.
My Challenges:
accepting imperfection--in myself, most especially--and staying optimistic in the face of hardship.
My Vision for the Future:
a world in which people treat other people humanely: that is, with compassion, empathy & respect.
My Areas of Expertise:
I'm still a student - not sure if I have any "expertise" of which to speak yet!
