About Me:

I was born and raised in Canada, but am currently living in Africa. I came to Kenya as a volunteer in 2004, fell in love with the country and ended up staying to do my university degree. I am graduating with a BA in psychology (minor in Communication and Culture) and am currently interning at a women's and human rights organization in Nairobi. I am planning to start a law degree and MA in Human Rights next year, helping me get that much closer to a career that I am passionate about. Right now I am looking to connect with people around the world who are dedicated to human rights and to become inspired by the work they do and the contributions they make. In addition, I am a travel junkie and closet journal-er/photographer, so am also looking to read about other people's experiences engaging in new cultures and perhaps get advice on places to travel and projects I can participate in while I am there.
