About Me:

My name is Christina. I was born and raised in the Southern region of the US. I was born to two parents who were military. My father is retired and my mother is still in the service. My sister who is 5 years my senior teaches 12th grade English. I am 26 years old. My birthday is September 10th. I moved to Serbia in January 2010 to be with the love of my life. Best decision I ever made for myself. Wouldn't be anywhere else either.

My mother's side of the family is watered down Scottish. :) They've been in the US for a while. However, my father's side of the family hasn't been in the US that long. Not enough 100 years. According to the documents, my great grandfather came to the US roughly around Feb 5th, 1912. He worked on the railroads. He was Ruthenian/Rusyn. My great grandmother was Ruthenian/Rusyn, also. I love my Slavic and Scottish heritage. :D Very proud of my oddly mixed roots.

I love and obsess over many things that are worldly. I LOVE music of the world. It speaks to me better than any story teller could rhyme his reason. I love to dance, especially to Latin, Turkish, and drums of any nation! I love belly dancing and tribal dances. :D Makes my heart flutter and my soul rejoice. I love to write as well. I was published a few times as a young child for poetry and short stories. I'd love to finish the novels I've started, but I just can't seem to make the time lately. So I read instead. I believe in Indigo children and the healing powers of Reiki and other natural alternative healing modalities. They've been around a lot longer than most of us.

Knowledge is power. And power is the ability to make change. And change is what I strive for. Within myself and throughout the world.

I recently received my bachelors in International Business. However, I teach English both in language schools and privately here in Belgrade. I also have my own freelance writing company where I focus on blog and copywriting forms.

I'm hear to educate myself. I am not sure I can educate anyone from my little bit of knowledge and lack of experience. But I am a sponge.

My Passions:
Life! Dancing, music, photography, writing, people, learning, cultures and languages! I'd love to fluent in multiple languages.
My Challenges:
Myself..I am my only obstacle.
My Languages:
English, Learning Serbian, and after Serbian I will learn Rusyn.
