About Me:

My name is Hajia Abimbola Fawehinmi, a Nigerian-American. I am a product of a Single Parent family of four children. My mother got be-widowed very early in her life. She had to fend for us children all alone.I had both my primary and secondary education in Nigeria, then i attended Howard University, Washington DC USA, for my college degree.
I am happily married to my college beau, and we are blessed with very delightful children & grand-children.
I am presently working on my NGO's mission to empower girls and women, especially, the indigent but brilliant ones, who out number the privileged few. I am targeting the rural areas where the poor girls and women are in great concentration( Southwestern Nigeria).

My Passions:
To avail indigent girl children with quality education, so they will be ready as educated women, to navigate life's challenges.
My Challenges:
Successful fund raising to give scholarships to the girls.
My Vision for the Future:
A peaceful world of more educated women, who will impact thier communities positively.
My Areas of Expertise:
Fashion Designer, to use the effect of the runway, to enhance the self-esteem of the Girl-Children
