Grace Taylor

About Me:

I see myself as a global activist for social justice, even though at this time in my life my primary focus is on raising my own two children. My main issue areas are debt cancellation, HIV/AIDS and US Policy toward Africa and Central America. Also passionate about fair trade, international labor rights and peaceful conflict resolution. As a mother I find it challenging to be as involved as I have been at other times in activist work or international travel. Even keeping up on issues is harder than it used to be. I am glad to have a way to stay connected however I can.

My Passions:
Dancing for joy and pleasure. Raising awareness in the US about our relations with the rest of the world. Creating a more just, sustainable world through personal and political action.
My Challenges:
Feeling isolated, staying connected to the bigger picture, carving out time for self and civic involvement when family demands are so intense.
