WLP

About Me:

Women's Learning Partnership consists of WLP headquarters, operating from the US, and 20 self-governing national and regional partner organizations in the global south, particularly in Muslim-majority societies, dedicated to women's advancement. WLP produces culture-specific curriculum and implements participatory leadership training to empower grassroots women. Our primary objectives are to a) increase the number of women taking on leadership roles and exercising participatory and inclusive decision-making, b) improve the effectiveness of civil society by strengthening the non-governmental sector, and c) secure human rights for women and men through the establishment of free, fair, and democratic societies. WLP has published dozens of handbooks, guides, videos, and CD-Rom in 17 languages, which are being used in over 30 countries.
