About Me:

My name is Irène and I am currently in my second year of study at Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, in the United States. There, I specialize in French, Middle Eastern Studies, and Africana Studies. As a volunteer translator for World Pulse, I am excited to be exposed to new people and learn from their stories, all the while trying to translate them with precision and attention.

My Passions:
French, Italian, cultural inquiry, history, film, art, linguistics, literature, music (from rap to opera), cooking, family, friends, and social justice
My Challenges:
Finding time and being confident
My Vision for the Future:
I would like to believe that if everyone believes and engages in social activism and empowerment in their own way, eventually we must come to a world where problems can be resolved nonviolently and the voices of many are heard and valued.
My Languages:
English, French, Italian
