I have always had a fascination with life that the harsh realities of the world can never make me relinquish. I lived many lives within this one life and I am not going to stop learning anytime soon!
First and foremost, I am a wife and mother. I love my children and husband so very much. I don't believe that there is a better accomplishment.
My life is comprised of the desire to learn and do as much as I possibly can. I am a renaissance person and my heroes are deep thinkers that have changed the world with their ideas. I have learned from their example to live life to the fullest through education, art, and culture. I am a writer, painter, science enthusiast, multi-instrument musician, actress, singer, dancer, hula hoop dance aficionado, counselor, and I have a doctorate degree in divinity. Religious studies have taught me that religion is another beautiful cultural expression of life and our way of understanding its sometimes confusing processes. I was a minister once, but now I am atheist.
I do what I love, and such a love is contagious. I have been kindly recognized by others for my efforts in my blog writing on The Anjana Network. The Anjana Network is a compilation of over 250 articles on the subject of living a meaningful life. Earlier this year (2013) I won third place in About.com’s Reader’s Choice contest for Most Inspirational Person. I have been on various media outlets, but even if I was never heard or seen I would still do what I do for the pure joy of it.
My current hopes are formulated on a list of 33 endeavors I hope to master before I am 34. I have a lot to look forward to and dance about!
