My life work and interests have primarily been focused on advocating and working for the rights of women, children and families nation wide. I have a B.A in Speech Ed. & Theater, M.A. in Humanities with a focus on Women's Spirituality, and M.F.A. Creative Inquiry. My career has included teaching school K-12, Director of a Community & Family Initiative Program,Training and Consulting for both Federal, State and County agencies. I have worked as a Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counselor and provided counseling for numerous victims of domestic violence , at-risk youth and homeless populations.
This life's journey have taught me how very important it is to be of service to all of life through the gifts and talents God has blessed each one of us with. It is our individual responsibility to do our best in healing ourself and help to heal our world.
In the last 10 years I have been primarily working as a professional artist whose vision is to create art that heals, empowers and spiritually uplifts. And also through my work speak for silent voices especially women and children. I founded a chapter of a national women's art organization in 2010 and served as a board member.
It is a joy to know that this online forum is here to support the vision of a real global community for women's empowerment. Thank You!
