I am an American missionary in East Africa where tradition and culture is more important than the LIFE of mankind. I have volunteered with the indigenous tribes for about 12 years. I have learned to communicate with them by learning there: language, tradition and culture and also by using translators. It has been difficult for me somehow because when live among the people although you are accepted they still remind you that you are a stranger in the land.
I volunteer helping the widows and orphans by bringing food and clean water and some small medical assistance. We have also built houses, orphanages, schools and churches in the village areas. The issue now is that funding is very low and the work is very big. We accept volunteers from all nations at our small mission center in Nkoaranga at nkoaranga Hospital road in Mt Meru Tanzania.
Help us help others by restructuring sustainable villages, one at a time.
