Omolara is a young civil expert and gender advocate with academic background in Peace and conflict studies. I have considerable expertise in strategic area of peacebuilding, conflict prevention, policy advocacy, gender issues and development. I currently work as the Policy Advocacy officer for West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI), a civil society think-tank and resource centre based in Accra, Ghana. I believe strongly that gender equality is an underlining factor for sustainable development. I also believe that all form of discrimination against women who often constitute over half of every population is counter-productive for any developmental agenda. I have absolute trust in the voice of the SHEroes in this generation.
