About Me: 

I am a development worker for 24 years, working for and with rural women, marginalized farmers, indigenous peoples , and fisherfolk in various issues and development initiatives such as women's health and safe motherhood, coastal resource management, sustainable agriculture, gender and policy advocacy.I am involved in two non-government development organizations working with rural women and rural communities in the area of microfinance, rural enterprise development and environment. I am also advocating issues affecting Mindanao people be it in peace, mining or poverty.As a mother, as a woman and a development worker,I long for peace to come into our home, community and our island.I envision myself to become a light to others, a resource to other women, to become a voice to the voiceless.

My Passions: 
advancing the rights of women,gender equality, learning and sharing what works and what does not work in empowering women and communities,agri enterprise,organic farming, contributing to the environmental protection, protecting rights of children,
My Challenges: 
to know how to blog, to widen my connection to women's groups, to join women's movement, to continue learning, to attain financial independence

a world where people can live together with deep respect for diversity, where girls and women enjoy equal rights with men to self actualize, where we do not do anything without thinking how it will impact the next generation
