About Me:

I am a Muslim girl grew up a small community of Chittagong, Bangladesh. Being a citizen of an poverty struck underdeveloped country, i have seen people in destitution in my community and how it degrades human's moral consciousness. I have seen communities where women are being suppressed, mentally and physically tortured in the name of religion and culture. I have experienced the helpless when you see unethical conducts and violence is happening against women in front of you and you can't take any steps against that because the surrounding society won't support you. For some of them it is the right way to deal with women and for others, they don't simply want to challenge the conventional and conservative society.
Fortunately, I have the privilege to grow up in a well to do family, under the guidance of such an excellent women, my mother, who taught me to challenge every wrong unethical deeds that i experience. She aspired me to look beyond the conservative society and explore my every dreams. It is her who taught me that one can be anything one aspired to be regardless one's gender. With the help of my mother i enrolled in Asian University of Women, where i got the opportunity to learn and explore beyond my community and country. I got to learn about women all over the world and what kind of challenges they are facing in comparison to my country. With developing skill and knowledge, now i know, even if I physically can't make an direct impact against the women suppression in my country, my writing certainly can. Therefore, I am working to develop my writing and journalism skills, and hopefully Voice of Future will take a step ahead to my goal.
Personally, i am a very optimist human being. I believe changes can happen and we can turn our dreams of a better future into reality with our determination and effort. For that, it is very important for me to retain my courage and struggle my way through any kind of obstacles without losing hope.
