When I was 9 years old I had a dream of trekking in the Himalyas to find Shangri-La. In 1968 when I was 18, I was given initiation into meditation practice, which began my formal training to "go inside" to discover myself and Source. Since that time I have been blessed to be guided and honed by the "Old Ones", Indigenous Elders of the Hopi and Musqueam people in the USA and Canada, now all gone, living in America's Wilderness National Parks since 1974, finally trekking solo in Nepal in 1981 for three months, organizing and leading many all-women's river trips through the Grand Canyon National Park until 2000, founding a 25 year old women's ceremonial spiritual community in the Pacific Northwest USA, and mentoring and guiding women's leadership since the 70's. This has been done through Council work, Rites-of-Passage, VisionQuests, one on one consciousness work. I began calling women together in the early 80's to begin telling our stories and sharing our hearts. Because most of my work has been in rural areas or in the wilderness, I have not been "out there" in the world.
I am published in several magazines and the book Wilderness Therapy for Women. I feel blessed to find this world voice forum and celebrate this rising up around the world. This has been my work for a life time!
