Hiba Safi is a community young leader engaged in the nonprofit sector. She currently works as a Program and Events Manager in the Arab Institute of Business Leaders, an independent non-profit Think Tank based in Tunisia, where she promotes the image of the organization by presenting effective economic programs, recommendations, proposals and reforms at various economic levels.
Hiba has worked with several national and international organizations and government bodies and has the experience of successfully organizing regional conferences, that focus on transitional issues of Tunisia-- jointly organized with the World Bank, OECD,UNDP, notably the Tunis Forum and the Enterprise Days, which are two of the biggest economic forums in the country, gathering heads of state, government representatives, senior business leaders from all over the world, as well as leaders from civil society, academia, and the media.
In addition, Hiba has been leading the organization of the Global Entrepreneurship Week and Creative Business Cup in Tunisia on behalf of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.
She has been working as a consultant for CIPE & Stanford University on reforming the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Egypt and Tunisia after the Arab Spring.
During her previous experience in different NGOs, such as the British Council, she worked in a close cooperation with the different processes especially within MENA programs.
