About Me:

I am an old teacher of English as a second language. I have had many wonderful
students from all over the world. Their stories have moved me to learn about their
home countries. I was very happy to see Liberia and Sierra Leone get rid of Taylor and
Sanko. But now DRC is a much harder challenge. I know how bad it is, and has been
for women. But like Laymah Gbowie said of her country and now of yours, "If anything
is going to change the mothers will have to do it". The women of Congo are strong.
You must win. you will win.

My Passions:
peace, social justice, indigenous rights
My Challenges:
kind of old
My Vision for the Future:
a world at peace, and nobody is hungry
My Areas of Expertise:
teaching english
