Amira

About Me:

I am a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a civil servant, and many more.
In all the roles I play in my life, I have come across abuse of varying degrees - directed at me and/or at others. We are brought up to be docile, obedient, and to accept life's miseries expecting rewards in the hereafter. While I believe we should be thankful for the blessings, it does not mean we should silently put up with the cruelties of others.

My Passions:
Writing and Reading. I am mostly passionate about historical or biographical material that tells a story of humankind.
My Challenges:
Breaking out of the silence
My Vision for the Future:
A world where human are treated humans, with mutual respect irrespective of gender, age, or social status.
My Areas of Expertise:
Information specialist, research speacialist
My Languages:
English, Dhivehi
