My first contact with humanitarian work was when I attended a programme organised by a group called “The Wife” developmental Initiative in 2007; I fell in love with what they were doing because amongst the objective of this non-governmental organization are (1) to emancipate women from gender discriminations and sexual abuse,(2) to empower women through self-help programme, and (3) to build a strong healthy relationship amongst couples and their children afterwards’ I Joined the organization as a Volunteer worker, I later became the Coordinator of my community and a trainer - I am a Resource Person in training programs organize for women by the NGO, and I was also the financial Coordinator of the NGO for two years(2010-2011). I function as an Editor /Writer in The Wife Publication; some of my write up includes ‘Challenges of the 21st Century Child (implication to parenting)’, Reminiscence of my childhood, Sexual difference between a man and a woman, and ‘Danger: Be Aware’ etc. over time, I have embarked on self sponsor projects by organizing seminars in schools educating the pupils and students on sexual education and thereby creating awareness on sexual abuses and gender discrimination. Presently the registration of my NGO is on-going and the focus is on abused and troubled females within my local community. I am a member of a few civil societies.

Educationally I have a Bachelor of Science degree in urban/regional planning, I obtained certificate of completion from peace operation training institute Virginia U.S.A in the following courses-(1) preventing violence against women and gender inequality in peacekeeping, (2) gender perspective in united nations peacekeeping operations and (3) international humanitarian law and law of armed conflicts. I also obtained similar certificate from Kofi Annan international peacekeeping training centre in civil military coordination I am a very patient person and I don’t get easily irritated.
