Although I have lived most of my life in the same place, I am always on the move - meeting, learning, creating, starting, finishing, growing, helping and especially traveling.
I work at a desk job in marketing and come home every day to my little silver cat named Orion.
I run a website that's aimed at empowering women to travel the world (girlswhotravel.org) and I host a podcast that interviews everyday people doing interesting things in my city (yourchicagopodcast.com).
I keep my passport ready should the opportunity arise but believe that travel can take place just a block from your home.
Until recently, I subsisted on turkey sandwiches and mac & cheese but have turned over a new leaf and am learning how to not just cook, but cook healthy. It's pretty awesome.
I just finished my first novel.
