About Me:

i am frida from kenya.i work for an organisation known as Woman's Hope. Its a christian based organisation with the aim of reaching out to women and girls with relevant social economic information crucial in uplifting the living standards of the entire society.
Tens of thousands cases of women and girls have been reported to have fallen prey to much more exploitation due to inadequate post abuse facilities such as safe houses. Nairobi, one of the largest cities in Africa, is only home of two safe houses with limited capacity of 20 women against 4000 reported cases of violence against women annually. Woman’s hope has opened the third shelter to offer protection, psychosocial support and healing space to women and girls who have undergone abuse.
Also economic empowerment is one of the durable interventions while addressing social problems. It encompasses the aspects of increased literacy, business knowledge and economic independence. With the institutionalization of micro financing to women, Woman’s Hope continues to build their capacities on entrepreneurial skills and access to finance facilities through trainings.
I would like to see these women succeed by sharing ideas with people like you.our website is www.womanshope.org
