About Me:

My name is Judith Ochola and I am a hardworking young lady who is very responsible, honest, reliable, and determined with ability to work and influence people towards achieving organization goals. I also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, works well with a team and can solves problems very well. As a leader, I believe that respect, integrity, teamwork and empowerment are both fundamental to any organization’s success. I have Diploma in Business Management from the Kenya Polytechnic, Certificate in housekeeping and Laundry from the Kenya Utalii College, Certificate in Hospitality and Tourism from Whatcom Community College, Bellingham, Washington State USA. Currently working on Pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.

Besides, I have a strong passion for girls and will always fight to ensure that they get equal opportunity as men especially when it comes to education. I leant a lot through my own personal experience in life and I believe that my further pursuit and desire to change the lives of women will make a great difference in my community and contribute to the development of Kenya as a nation

Having come from a community which does not recognize the importance of educating women, yet defeating the odds and pursuing my own education and international experience being a recipient of the US department of State scholarship, I see the urgency of addressing the need for girl child education. The proverb that says “If you educate a man, you educate only one person but if you educate a woman, you educate a whole nation” is one I firmly believe in.

My Passions:
Empowering women, promoting peace and educating women to help them build confidence and be able to assert thier needs
My Challenges:
Raising funds and resources to educate girls, fighting retrogresive cultural practices and gender inequality
My Vision for the Future:
To make a difference in my community by making sure girls get equal opportunity as men and that they are given a chance to make informed decision
My Areas of Expertise:
Hospitality And Tourism Field, Business Management Professional
My Languages:
Other, Kiswahili and English
