About Me:

I have recently finished University, I now work as an international development researcher for the Labour Party. I have been interested in the world, injustice, poverty for a long time. At University I volunteered for a rape crisis centre and became a feminist. I was so eager to learn more and soaked up feminism like a sponge.

I became very upset, angry and motivated about the injustice that women face around the world. I read Half the Sky and this really challanged me.

One day I hope to work for a women's charity or open my own rape crisis centre in a developing country.

I am a fan of MissRepresentation and the work they have done in the US about negative press and adverts which sexualise women.

My Blog: http://blowinginthewindalilouis.blogspot.com/

My Passions:
Reading, politics, women's rights,
My Challenges:
Seeing and meeting people who don't seem to care
My Vision for the Future:
To work really hard, and help women around the world.
