I am the mother of two grown sons. I live in the Sierra Nevada mountains in the state of California in the United States of America with my husband and two dogs. I recently completed my PhD in Philosophy and Religion and have created a pilgrimage/travel business with another woman--a dear friend from Guatemala. We are planning to take a group of people on a journey there in November to support and provide assistance to women's groups who are working to end violence and poverty and to explore the country and its culture. I also write and do research about women's spiritual experiences.
