About Me:

Hello fellow dreamers. My name is Lorraine Umwiza and I am a Master of Public Administration currently living in Nairobi. I am working on a blog for development practitioners, and looking for gender-related development work with a social purpose organization. In 5 years time, I hope to be able to speak eloquently on development issues, especially where funding is concerned. Philanthropy is changing and I want to be at the forefront of its progression--if only to document it. Otherwise, I'm excited to learn from and share with members of this community. It's a pleasure to meet you!

My Passions:
digital media, music, talking
My Challenges:
patience!, dealing with discrimination
My Vision for the Future:
a well planned, sensitive, and just space
My Areas of Expertise:
gender and development, organizational development/management
My Languages:
English, Spanish, Kiswahili
