About Me:

I am lawyer, gender activist and human rights advocate. I studied Law in Nigeria and the UK. I was going to be a top Corporate/Commercial Lawyer after my studies, and then I got the opportunity to go to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands as an intern for 6 months. My experience at the ICC changed my views about life, justice and my career focus. I am convinced that the problems we face in the world and particularly in Africa is as a result of the failure of our justice systems and poor implementation of human rights. I am a committed wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. I enjoy interacting with people and sharing experiences and knowledge.

My Passions:
My family, Human rights and justice, The Law, Books, Music, Art
My Vision for the Future:
Leaving a Legacy – A better and peaceful world than we met it
My Areas of Expertise:
African regional human rights system, International human rights law, Legal and social research, Project management, Gender mainstreaming, Women's Rights
