Although "Amondi" has a special place in my heart for many reasons, my real name is Karlyn. I am a recent Sociology and International Studies graduate of the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI USA. Currently, I am working on a grant in Kisumu, Kenya documenting people's experiences under colonialism as well as freelance writing on women's issues.

I am originally from Minneapolis, MN with the hopes of relocating to Washington, DC when I return to the US in November.
