Below is a long, searing and outraged report from Stephen Lewis, Ex UN Ambassador on AIDS to Africa, about the ongoing, horrific, mass rapes in the Democratic Republic of Congo. While I absolutely agree with his outrage, I would add what he did not, to this report - which is that there are grassroots organizations that have sprung up, led by women survivors of rape, and that they are pleading for our support.
