UNWOMEN Searcheable Database of Women's Rights Contained in Constitutions
If you work on women's issues and sometimes find it hard to match the legal right with the social issue you are dealing with, you may find the UNWOMEN's innovative database useful. The database is available at: http://constitutions.unwomen.org/
It has gathered references to equality, gender, women's rights, discrimination and relevant terms in constitutions from various countries of the world. Currently, the database has constitutions from 195 countries that you can access.
Additionally, the database is searchable by country, region/continent, keywords, and provisions. It can supplement whatever research or study you are conducting and can be the first point of call in deciding what your country states on a particular issue.
