Choices Life Skills Program Materials from Girls Inc.

CHOICES for girls, CHALLENGES for teenage boys engagingly address the myths and hard
realities teenagers must face entering adulthood. Both books detail the critical choices and
challenges teens must consider in order to become productive, independent human beings.

Through the use of provocative exercises, charts, interview
techniques and other interactive methods, CHOICES and CHALLENGES help develop skills in the
important areas of goal setting, skills identification, decision making, money management,
post-secondary education, and career, lifestyle, and family planning. CHANGES for women, can
also be used in conjunction with CHOICES in Mother Daughter workshops or for use with women in
re-entry classes or rehab programs.

"Animal" Hormones vs Human Judgement

The program seems very positive. I have a couple of questions, based on my own experience:

How much of this program is focused on the ways our "animal" hormones attempt to sidetrack our human judgement?
How much is focused on understanding the hormonal influences on boys and girls so that they can relate to each other?
