TrustLaw Connect: Pro Bono Legal Assistance, News and Information on Good Governance and Women's Rights
Launched in 2010 TrustLaw is a global centre for free legal assistance and news and information on good governance and women’s rights. It is run by the Thomson Reuters Foundation, the charitable arm of the world’s leading provider of news and information.
With agenda-setting material from our expert editorial team and our content partners, we are a one-stop shop for news and information on good governance, women’s rights and pro-bono work. TrustLaw includes news and analysis from Reuters and the Foundation’s 20 journalists, expert commentary, country profiles and more. TrustLaw is also dedicated to improving access to free legal assistance.
At the heart of the project is an ambitious electronic platform called TrustLaw Connect, a market place for pro bono designed to make it simpler for lawyers to access high impact pro bono projects around the world and easier for social entrepreneurs and NGOs to get free legal assistance.
Our goal is to spread the culture of pro bono globally, taking it to countries where it is not yet common practice.
