Domestic Violence Agencies

According to the Refuge, a nonprofit that works for the issue of domestic violence, in a weeks period two women are killed by their significant other or a former partner. The UN states that 17% to 38%of women have been physical assaulted by their partner. Sadly, women are abused, on average, 35 times before they reach out for help.

But how can we end this cycle?

If you are a victim or know of a victim of gender based violence you can utilize the following website. This website provides a list of agencies that support GBV issues. To use this website click on the area (shown by a map) of where you live and it will lead you to the resources and agencies that support issues regarding GBV.
