Sharron COS

Itafari is a foundation originating from Portland, Oregon, with the intention of providing assistance to Rwandans as they rebuild their country after the 1994 genocide. Itafari is involved in four main areas at this time: 1) Providing goats to child-headed households, 2) Sponsoring children to attend school, 3) Raising money to building a secondary school in Kigali, Rwanda, 4) Micro-finance.

One of Itafari's beliefs is that we want the people of Rwanda to tell us what we can do to help them, not for us to dictate what we think they need.

This group on Pulsewire will allow our friends and partners in Rwanda to share with us their stories and their needs, and create an awareness of what we are doing in Rwanda and how people can help.
