Man Up Campaign
The Man Up Campaign was created to give young people a voice in developing models of change that truly address the issues of gender based violence.
In partnership with the Man Up Campaign, World Pulse invites Delegates of the 2010 Young Leaders Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa, to join our online community and share your journey in declaring an end to violence
against women and girls and connect with other changemakers worldwide.
Use this platform to to virtually meet with other Delegates attending the Youth Summit, share your own story in “manning up,” and your vision for the future. Participate in our Action Blogging Campaign by leading the PulseWire community in speaking out against gender-based violence and providing solutions or calls to action. How are YOU breaking the cycle and what is YOUR vision for the 5-year campaign? Tell us!
This group is a space for where you can introduce yourself to other delegates, make friendships prior to the summit, and get the conversation rolling for this powerful journey you are embarking on. Later you can report on your experience in Johannesburg, garner support for your own initiatives within the Man Up Campaign, learn about opportunities to be published, and access additional fellowship opportunities to further your work.
World Pulse recently featured Man Up founder Jimmie Briggs in the latest edition of our magazine. Read his story The Uncomfortable Silence and then tell us yours!
