Land Rights

Women’s labor is at the center of our food systems. However, while women farm much of the world’s land, they actually own less than 2% of that land. What does this imbalance mean for the world’s women? How does it impact you in your own life? And how can we start to change the picture? This is a forum to listen to each other’s stories as well as a platform to share resources on women and land rights.

This issue has already struck a chord with PulseWire community. The question of land rights has surfaced in the journals of PulseWire members from all over the world. Many people touched on the issue of land rights in their submissions to the last My Story competition. Here’s a space to expand that discussion.

Post your stories, questions, resources, and ideas to this group and let’s keep the conversation alive!
