Recognizing World Pulse Leaders!

At World Pulse, we recognize that leadership comes in many forms----both on the ground in your local communities, as well as online in PulseWire’s global community. Are you a leader on PulseWire?

Jambo, Kenya Café

Discuss strategies and ideas about how to help connect Kenyan women and community groups working for social change with women globally.Jambo, Kenya Café!

This group will be hosted by me -- Leah Auma Okeyo --a Kenyan grassroots leader living in the poor community of Migori, Western Kenya. I will work with Anne-Christine d'Adesky, who is with me in Kenya right now, to co-moderate this group.

I want this to be a global forum for women to exchange ideas and find solutions to the problems on the ground, at the local level. I want to highlight problems and successes, and when we have problems, discuss them here. I also want to examine the successes.

I invite everyone on PulseWire to join me in this exciting, important conversation. Bring other people to this group for them to offer ideas too.

Oh -- I will also teach people basic Swahili (smile).

Asante Sana - Thank you very much.
