Trade Justice to Help End Slavery
A resource pool to help fight modern-slaveryThis group has potential to become a resource for those who understand the power of our economy to either fuel the fire of exploitation or put one out. Upon studying the potential of artisans from across the globe through my local Ten Thousand Villages store, I have been frequently humbled by the amount of talent and idea people bring to the market. I am so disappointed with our current inability to give credit where credit is due. It is very obvious that our non-local markets have become a haven for exploitation, which creates the demand for exploited people.
