Offer: Fellowship for Health Care Reporting (USA)
Journalists who want to report about the U.S. health care system can apply for a fellowship grant.
The Association of Health Care Journalists (AHCJ) provides fellows with up to US$6,500 to spend a year reporting about an issue related to health care. Fellows pursue the projects with the support of their newsrooms or freelance outlets, which commit to publish or air the work.
Fellows will receive a US$2,500 and up to US$4,000 for reporting costs. In addition, AHCJ guides fellows, providing them with exposure to customized seminars on health care systems, conference calls and email consultations.
The deadline to apply is Oct. 1.
