Offer: Data Bootcamp accepting applications (India)


Journalists, developers, designers and open-government representatives can apply to attend the training session in Gurgaon, India.

Hack the Budget is a three-day data bootcamp that will help media professionals create interactive content focusing on the Indian government’s new budget. The program will be led by senior international and Indian experts from the BBC, the International Center for Journalists, Hacks/Hackers New Delhi, Data{Meet} and Code for Africa.

The workshops are also sponsored by the Hindustan Times and the 9.9 School of Communication.

Free seats are reserved for 30 journalists, 15 developers and/or designers, and 15 civil-society and/or open-government-data representatives. Registration is ongoing until spaces are filled.

The program will take place Sept. 5-7 at the Bridge School of Management.
