Offer: Organize an Earth Day 2009 Event or Action!

Hello!
In anticipation for Earth Day 2009, held annually on April 22nd, Earth Day Network would like to invite you and your organization to organize an event or action on this monumental day.
Earth Day 2009 is the kick-off for a two-year campaign initiative, The Green Generation (http://earthday.net/greengeneration). This campaign will culminate with the 40th anniversary of Earth Day in 2010. Follow this link to learn more about The Green Generation (http://earthday.net/earthday2009) campaign. The Earth Day Network website also includes several event planning resources such as 'Earth Day in a Box' http://www.earthday.net/node/88. On this page you can also find our organizer's guide where you can find everything you need to know in order to plan a successful Earth Day event.
Once you have planned your event or action - Register it! This allows those in your area and around the world to see what you are doing. You can also use the Global Event Registrar to search for other Earth Day events. http://www.earthday.net/user/register/role/3
