Need: Sollicitation de fonds pour le monitoring sur la Résolution 1325 en Province du Sud-Kivu en R D Congo

Nous avons l’honneur de venir sous vos responsabilités pour vous présenter notre projet de monitoring qui s’inscrit dans le cadre du genre et plus précisément sous la thématique de la femme paix et sécurité prévue par les résolutions 1325 et 1820 des Nations Unies.

Vu la problématique de femmes du Sud-Kivu au regard de tous les contextes des conflits multiformes qu’a connus notre pays,
Etant donné les retombées de ces conflits sur la vie de femmes notamment : le veuvage, les viols et violences basées sur le genre, la pauvreté … qui nécessitent encore des solutions durables,
Etant donné que nous sommes à la veille du sommet des Nations Unies sur la révision des OMD (Objectifs du Millénaire pour le Développement) et l’adoption des ODD (Objectifs pour le Développement Durable) 2015-2025,
Vu l’avantage pour notre province de participer au travail de monitoring sur la mise en œuvre de la résolution 1325 en vue d’attirer l’attention des décideurs nationaux et internationaux sur le sort des femmes en période de conflits,

Nous membres des 10 organisations de la société civile, sommes engagées pour faire la surveillance de la mise en œuvre des résolutions 1325 en province du Sud-Kivu en collaboration avec GNWP (Global Network Women Peace maker) et d’autres partenaires intéressés.

Le rapport de ces enquêtes constituera notre contribution au plaidoyer en faveur des femmes de notre province du Sud-Kivu et de la R. D. Congo en général.

C’est pourquoi nous sollicitons votre contribution tant matérielle, technique que financière pour la réalisation de ce travail dont les termes de références sont annexés.
Avec l’expression de nos remerciements anticipés, nous vous prions de croire à notre engagement dans l’effort global pour l’amélioration des conditions de vie des femmes en

Considering woman issues in South Kivu, under all contexts and the multifaceted conflicts in our country,
Given the impact of these conflicts on the lives of women including: widowhood, rape and gender based violence, poverty ... that still need sustainable solutions,
Since we are on the eve of the UN Summit on the revision of the MDGs (Millennium Development Goals) and the adoption of ODD (Objectives for Sustainable Development) 2015 to 2025,

Given the benefit to our province to participate in the monitoring work of the implementation of resolution 1325 in order to attract the attention of national and international policy makers to the plight of women in times of conflict,

We members of 10 civil society are committed to monitoring the implementation of 1325 in the province of South Kivu, in collaboration with GNWP (Global Network Women Peace maker) and other interested partners.

The report of these investigations will be our contribution to advocacy for women in our province of South Kivu and the DR Congo in general.
That is why we need your material, technical and financial contribution for the realization of this work whose terms of reference are attached.
With the expression of our thanks in advance, please believe in our commitment to the global effort to improve the living conditions of women in D. R. Congo.
