Need: I need your help ... I wish to pursue masters degree in Early Childhood Education

My name's Michelle P. Hermoso, 33 years old from the Philippines. I'm a mother of 5 kids and the only breadwinner of the family. I chose to separate from my husband for 5 years now to end up the agony of being a battered wife. My widowed mum is taking care of my kids back in my country. My husband had never helped me in any way to raise my kids.

Presently, I am working as a kindergarten teacher in Thailand. This is my fifth year in third foreign land and countless sleepless nights of missing them is unavoidable. But I have to be stronger for them and for their future. I am just really thankful that God never left me in my struggles as a mom and as a person still coping with the responsibilities and battling with the post trauma of my horrible experiences with my husband.

As a teacher, I am dedicated to my work. I love my students and treat them as my own. But in the world of work, nothing is constant. I have to upgrade myself so I can cope up with the competitive world. I wish to pursue masters degree in Early Childhood Education but I don't think I can do this alone financially. With the increasing need of my family for basic needs and education, I am not confident that this dream will be realized. I hope there's someone out there who can help me. I hope and pray.

Our hearts break each time we read of needless suffering and seemingly endless needs. But we also take heart at the number of resources available around the world to empower women and girls to thrive as they follow their visions.

I want to direct you to the resources page on this World Pulse website: There are postings for opportunities, education, and other articles on funding that you may find helpful. Please contact us if you need help navigating the pages, or have any questions.

Let us Hope together-
aka: Cali gal

I am an innovative young man who has passion for the plight of women in my area/country. Women in my country are illiterate digitally or they cannot access the internet and they are not empowered. Girls are dropping school at a tender age and instead get married because they are not motivated and empowered. Therefore, because of this they are being abused by their husbands because they(women or girls) don't know their rights.

In view of this, I want to start a Foundation with an aim to civic educate women on digital access and motivate and empower girls who are about to drop from school; and bring back to school those who already dropped it. I want to correct the situation by educating a girl child so that girls are able to access the internet. Although I am working but my salary is insufficient for the project, therefore I request well wishers who can assist me with finances to fulfill this project.

Waiting with eager,

Isaac Zuze.
