-Are you a woman leader living and working in Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Costa Rica, or Panama?
-Do you have more than five years working as a leader in NGO or social based organizations?
-Are you committed to the construction of positive social change in your community?
-Are you between the ages of 25-42 years?
-Are you at an INTERMEDIATE LEVEL OR ABOVE for conversing in English?
-Are you available in September 2014 to travel to Seattle, WA USA and participate in an intensive training for eight weeks?
The Central American Women’s Leadership fellowship is an association between iLEAP and the Seattle International Foundation. iLEAP is currently accepting applications for Central American women leaders to participate in this intensive leadership and social innovation training. These Central American women leaders will be part of an international cohort of 15 iLEAP Fellows from Asia, Africa, and Latin America. This is a unique, intercultural, and global experience taking place in Seattle.
This is an integral program; with a balance between personal and collective reflection, learning through dialogue, with guaranteed training in communication and effective leadership. Our Fellows return home renovated and with new tools to be able to lead their communities. They gain clarity in their commitment to themselves, what they do, and in social change. The training will take place in Seattle, Washington, starting the September 29th until November 21st of 2014. All costs will be covered by this scholarship.
