Need: partnership

I am having a preschool and day care in Namibia, and looking for partnership with kindergarten/ day care center around the globe. The aim is to make our younger kids know other countries and make friends with their peers at an early age. We can do that through Skype or other communication.

Time difference

I commend your creativity and initiative, Emilia. I have calculated that there is a 6-hour difference between the Philippines and Namibia. This means that at 10:30 AM here, it is only 4:30 AM at your end.

My church has a kindergarten school. We have two classes - 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. If ever, it will be the afternoon class which can participate in this proposed partnership.

By the way, do your pupils speak English? Even if they don't I believe your pupils and our pupils will be able to relate with each other.

Still, I will float this idea during our Board Meeting.

Shared Schooling

Hello Emilia!
I had contacted Scott at the World Pulse headquarters here in Portland about a month ago with a very similar request! I am homeschooling my 9 year old daughter (3rd grade) and was wondering if I could help anyone else at the same time. We have a few challenges...Here is the US (Portland, Oregon) we are about 9 hours behind you. So, when we are starting school at 8 am it's 5 pm your time. Also, my daughter is in third grade and it sounds like you are schooling younger children. Even so, I would love to try to make this work and I think we could find some material that would be beneficial to your kids. Is there any chance you could bring together a group of kids once a week or even once a month in the evening? And if so, is there someone there who speaks English to translate the material?
Looking forward to talking with you!
