Offer: Digital Journalism online book: Lessons, Tutorials, Resources, Opportunities

A new e-book and incredible learning resource for those of us who are learning to, or want to increase skill and knowledge base in this digital media age. I HIGHLY recommend taking a look at this resource. NOTE: Chapters 1-2 are more of a history with focus on the U.S. Chapters 3-5 are more instructional, with links to resources, articles, opportunities, and lessons. Although it was intended for teachers, one could easily find helpful lessons throughout. It is meant to work on a variety of devices and platforms. The best way to describe it further is to quote from the ijnet.org article:

"It offers 1,000 tutorials and learning resources, and sheds new perspectives on the major challenges facing journalism."

"...offers up more than 1,000 lesson plans, resources and tools for educators embedded on an HTML5 site, which is designed to work well on multiple devices."
