CDB now invites interested, eligible, qualified applicants to submit applications to be included in the Bank’s Standby Roster of Gender Consultants. Applications can be submitted online until 31 October 2013, through the webpage https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/rostergender. Only shortlisted candidates will be placed on the roster and invited to submit their full curriculum vitae.

Requirements for specific competencies, qualifications, duties and responsibilities will be outlined in the Terms of Reference for each specific assignment. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in gender equality issues and the relevant thematic area, as well as relevant academic background. Good knowledge of the socio-economic and political environments of the Bank’s member countries will be an asset.

Gender specialists from CARICOM countries and/or CDB member countries are particularly encouraged to apply. Differently abled persons are encouraged to apply.

For further information or clarifications, please contact gender@caribank.org.

CDB will not defray the costs of submission of any application.

Response

Hi Wendy!
Sorry for my delayed response. Not sure why, but Google Translate at the top of every page here, seems to be having on-and-off-again troubles. A solution is to open translate.google.com in another Browser tab and copy-paste the text there.

Wow, that's incredible that you'll be making those travels to visit WP community friends! I would love to see some pictures of the face-to-face meetings. I love that you're doing this!

Take care dear Wendy...

I'll be sure you get

I'll be sure you get pictures. May have told you I will also be doing a benefit speech event in Chennai India for Americanized Indians who have low self esteem. I'm so psyched about that. Also, Kirthi is trying to get me to speak at the Consulate General . She never gives up!

ALSO, since I wrote it looks like WP's Urmilla will come down from Bangladesh or wherever she is to see me or I will extend my trip to go see her.

This is all synchronicity at it's best !

Ubuntu (I am who I am because of who we are together),
