The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is holding an eight day training course in Nairobi, Kenya, from September 18th to 27th, 2013, for professionals working in GBV programming and/or involved in GBV prevention in humanitarian/post-conflict settings. The course, Preventing Violence Against Women & Girls: Engaging Men through Accountable Practice- A field-tested approach for post-conflict communities, introduces staff to a behavior change intervention developed by IRC to reduce gender-based violence in conflict-affected communities.
