Offer: Attention, Young Women of Israel and Palestine
Here's an opportunity for training and partnership for Palestinian, Israeli, and Middle East women that I highly recommend. I'm a current participant in this program and have been involved with Yala Young Leaders (www.facebook.com/yalayl) since shortly after it began. Now, only two years old, we are now more than 350,000 strong. I welcome any questions you may have. Please do tell me if you decide to apply and I can give you a helping hand.

Yala Academy and MENA Leaders for Change Program:
"YaLa-Young Leaders offers young people from across the Middle East and North Africa region the opportunity to participate in a unique leadership and empowerment program. The selected students will study in a special program of the Regional Cooperation & Development Department of the YaLa-Young Leaders Online Academy (YLO@) that will help them learn and develop key organizational, critical thinking, leadership, negotiation and communication skills and more. The online courses will be provided by the US Institute for Peace and Vanderbilt University as well as supplementary training units from private sector companies. Students will be selected to participate in one of two groups: Group A will take the online courses between January and April 2013, while Group B will take the online courses between June and September 2013. At the end of the program, excelling students from both groups will be selected to participate in a workshop at the Dead Sea in Jordan in Fall 2013 where they will discuss cooperation and develop projects to promote positive change throughout the region. The program is funded by the U.S. State Department in partnership with Search for Common Ground."
