Vital Voices presents Global Freedom Exchange: A Hilton Worldwide and Vital Voices partnership leveraging leadership to end trafficking. The program, to be held June 17th-28th, 2013, will rely on a multi-faceted, impact-oriented approach to provide a dynamic educational and mentoring opportunity for emerging and established women leaders who are on the forefront of the global efforts to prevent and respond to the destructive crime of child trafficking.

The Global Freedom Exchange will bring together a select group of 22 women NGO leaders, from 12 countries around the world, for the opportunity to participate in a two week experiential, interactive learning and networking program and will be held in Washington, D.C., New York City and Dallas, Texas.

Vital Voices is looking for leaders who demonstrate the following criteria:

  • Demonstrates commitment to anti-trafficking field, particularly on issues related to child sex trafficking
  • Represents an NGO working to eliminate child trafficking
  • Indicates capacity to benefit from an international exchange
  • Shows future leadership potential

What an amazing opportunity! I do hope those who are called respond. Action is urgent, and this epidemic continues to be somewhat hidden from public eye. I am glad this is getting more attention these days, and that action plans are being implemented.
