Bala Vikasa is a non-government voluntary organization working for the integrated development of rural communities in India from past 22 years with a motto of “Helping people to help themselves”. Bala Vikasa People Development Training Center is pleased to announce Four week-long Capacity Building Program with Field Exposure in “Community Driven Development” (CDD). This program is scheduled from 7 – 31st January, 2013 at Bala Vikasa PDTC Premises.

This program is targeted and specially designed in both theoretical and practical aspects of various approaches, methodologies and tools for development practitioners working in Community Development to meet current and emerging demands to make developmental interventions more inclusive, effective, efficient and sustainable.

The course is designed to be participatory and will build upon the experiences of the participants giving ample opportunities for cross learning.

The cost of the four week long training is only INR 40000. But partial scholarships are available on the first come first serve basis. The maximum intake number for the training program is only 25. To encourage the participation of NGOs from different countries in capacity building programs, Bala Vikasa PDTC provides food and accommodation – (Non A/C rooms 3 sharing basis) within the premises of PDTC, at its own cost.
