Need: Federation of Indigenous Women Canada want a Voice for Policy & Legislation of Canada
Native Women of Canada have lived under the longest and most violent act of cultural genocide in the history of the world; the Indian Act, which imposed sterilization, oppression, forced residential school, loss of language, loss of identity, loss of native laws, social protocols, and negative treatment that violates every single human right in the world. We seek justice! We want equal agreements to end the violence against native women of Canada. Native women want employment, education, housing, health care, protection on the domestic home-front of Canada. Many native women have been murdered with no justice for them in the highest courts or through the layers of the justice system of Canada! We seek justice for their families, loved one, children and grandchildren who have suffered, and will continue to suffer because a loved one was murdered and taken before their time. We want a voice in policy and legislation to remove linear racialized violence and discrimination toward native women of Canada. Native women are the strength of our families, our communities and nation. We want recognition of the past and work toward an equal future in all area's of society! We seek strong supports nationally and internationally because, native women suffer with homelessness, poverty, no protection, and no voice in Canada. We need your support to strengthen our voice and change's within policy and legislation.
